St Agnes Boating
St Agnes Boating
St Agnes Boating is a family-run business, run by the Peacock family on St Agnes since 1994 when the purpose built boat, Spirit of St Agnes, arrived in Scilly. Each year, St Agnes Boating and the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust team up to give residents and visitors alike fantastic wildlife experiences across the Islands. In addition, St Agnes Boating make regular donations to the Trust (from the sale of Wildlife Safari tickets) and also support us in carrying out beach cleans across the Islands.
St Agnes Boating are always striving to carry out an essential service whilst minimising their impact on the natural world and our environment. Every Wednesday afternoon, we join forces to offer a fantastic Wildlife Safari. The guided two-hour tour takes to you to Annet, the Western Rocks and, sea conditions allowing, to the edge of the British Isles - Bishop Rock.
Spot Scilly’s splendid seabirds (including puffins at the right time of year, shearwaters, petrels and more) and grey seals, and enjoy spectacular views of our Scilly’s wilder frontier. The safari originates and returns to St Agnes, but we will collect and drop off on St Mary’s on request.
About St Agnes Boating
The Spirit was built especially for St Agnes Boating – a catamaran perfect for carving through the deeper waters between St. Agnes and the rest of the archipelago. She is used as the main boat, offering regular transfers between the islands and servicing the arrivals and departures of the Scillonian III and flights into St Mary’s. The Enterprise is the smaller of our two boats, with a capacity of 66 passengers. Enterprise is used mostly for private tours and transfers, or when the Spirit is out of the water, e.g. for a service.
